Production of low-carbon hydrogen using effluents and residual biomass through microbiological, thermochemical and electrochemical routes.
The H2Bios project follows an integrated flow of three main stages, each under the responsibility of a specific ICT, with coordination by HVB Energy and accreditation by INMETRO.

First stage of the process, using biomass for initial biohydrogen production.

Second stage of the process, transforming biogas into hydrogen through dry reforming.
Responsible: UPF
Third stage of the process, using wastewater for hydrogen production via electrolysis.
Laboratory accreditation and certification of hydrogen produced in all stages.
